2-step Content creation for artists!

If you’ve ever saved a post on Instagram for content ideas and proceeded to never go back to it… you’re not alone! But over the years, I’ve learnt that it really doesn’t have to be complicated - a few simple tricks can help you stay consistent without zapping your creative energy. In this blog, I’m sharing some of my favourite low-effort content creation tips that actually work (no fancy tools required).

1. Keep a running list of ideas

In your ‘Reminders’ app on your phone (or Google Keep if you’re a Google person), keep a list of reel/carousel ideas so you always have some ready to go. No rules, no structure - just a “scribbled on a napkin” style list that only makes sense to you. Mine is now hundreds-of-ideas deep.

But the point of this is, that whenever you feel stuck, you’ve got a bank of ideas ready to use. I do save posts on Instagram, but honestly… I rarely (read: never) go back to them. The notes app? Much easier to access on the fly.

2. Show up (with your face!)

It’s the number one objection I hear when it comes to social media from almost all students in my course. (I know because it’s one of the challenges I set and the uptake could be better!) But showing your audience there’s a human behind your brand makes it SO much easier for them to connect with you.

Remember: People buy from people. But I’m sure you already knew this.

So I don't care if it's a Story, a Carousel, a Reel… if it's for 3 seconds or 30 (lean on the longer side though).

Do an Introduction post: “Hi, I'm X and I'm an artist from X who does X”.

DO IT DO IT DO IT. And then tag me so I can cheer you on!

I promise once you do it ONCE, it gets easier and easier.
